New employee training for National Universities and Colleges in the Hokuriku Region 2025

On April 7 and 8, a two-day training program for new employees of national university corporations in the Hokuriku regionwas held, and 79 people from six institutions, including online participants, took part in the event.

First, Osami Kurosawa - Head of General Affairs Department of Kanazawa University gave a lecture titled "As an employee of a national university corporation" in which he talked about the university's functions and issues, and the role of employees. After that, two employees with four and nine years of employment gave "senior lectures" offering advice based on their experiences.

In addition, Ms. Chikako Taka, a public health nurse from Health Service Center gave a lecture on "health management," in which she talked about how to improve your life by discussing the connection between work and health management, the mechanisms of mental health and stress. Furthermore, Lecturer Yuko Nagao from Kansai Ladies Corporation Ltd. gave a lecture on the basics of business etiquette and how to improve communication skills in the workplace, as well as group practical training.

Participants learned about the basics of awareness and behavior required for employees of national university corporations and other institutions, and also built networks that transcended institutional boundaries.
