On April 4, 2025, the Matriculation Ceremony of Kanazawa University was held at the Kanazawa Kagekiza Theater to welcome a total of 2,871 students (1,985 undergraduate students, 851 graduate students, and 35 one-year undergraduate cource students).
At the ceremony, President Takashi Wada gave words of encouragement to the new students, urging them to cherish the unchanging essence of the program, continue to take on challenges, and play an active role in the world Japan as "Kanazawa University brand human resources" who are core leaders in the international community. After that, Ms. Kyoka Yoshida from the College of Transdisciplinary Sciences for Innovation, School of Tourism Sciences and Design and Mr. Shyota Sasajima from Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Division of Mathematical and Physical Sciences gave the pledge on behalf of the students.
Kanazawa University Choir sang the school song, and the Kanazawa University Philharmonic Orchestra played a festive performance, making the ceremony solemn and full of hope.
